Workforce Development Scholarship - Fall 2025 to Spring 2027

The Workforce Development Scholarship is intended for students who meet the following criteria:

  • Students must be a Minnesota Resident (recent high school graduates and adult learners are eligible);
  • Students must register for at least 9 credits in the Fall semester and continue enrollment in a minimum of 9 credits per semester;
  • Students must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards during enrollment;
  • Students must declare one of the following majors with Fall being the first semester in the program:
    CNC Toolmaking Diploma
    Electromechanical Systems Diploma or Certificate
    Welding Diploma
    Public Health AS
    Health Information Technology AAS
    Healthcare Informatics AAS
    Medical Office Professional AAS
    Medical Coding Diploma
    Medical Office Certificate
    Healthcare Documentation Specialist Certificate
    Pharmacy Technician AAS or Diploma
    Science and Engineering Technology AS
    Medical Laboratory Technician
    Computer Graphics and Visualization AS
    Visualization Technology AAS or Certificate
    Computer Animation Certificate
    Web Design Certificate
    CyberSecurity AAS or Certificate
    Computer Science Transfer Pathway AS
    Management Information Systems AS
    Computer Network Engineering AAS
    Computer Programming AAS
    Network Administration Certificate
    Java Programming Certificate
    Web Based 2D Game Development Certificate
    Web Development Certificate
    Child Development Careers AAS, Diploma, or Certificate
