Xcel Energy CIP Scholarship

The Xcel Energy Conservation Improvement Plan (CIP) Scholarship is intended to support income qualified students pursuing energy efficiency related education at two and four year institutions.

Scholarships are offered to schools with courses of study related to energy efficiency that aim to recruit and educate students who are historically and currently underrepresented in the energy efficiency sector, prioritizing women.

Courses of study may include building management, energy efficiency, HVAC, or similar energy efficiency related courses.

The scholarship awards will prioritize applicants residing in Minneapolis Green Zones, Saint Paul ACP50 areas and areas in rural Minnesota located in the Company’s service territories.
