Richard A Newman Memorial Scholarship

The Richard A Newman Memorial Scholarship is for new and continuing students in the pipefitting program.

Requirements for incoming/new Saint Paul College Pipefitting Students:
Must complete admissions and registration processes for Saint Paul College
Must be a high school graduate or have GED certification
Must have a photocopy of a high school transcript or an equivalent document of grades
Must have a cumulative Grade Point Average (G.P.A.) of 3.0 or higher
Must be enrolled as a Pipefitting student
Must carry a minimum of 4 credits per semester
A 250-word essay describing why you would like to be a Pipefitter and the need for this scholarship
A letter of recommendation

Requirements for current/continuing Saint Paul College students:
Must show proof of enrollment status as a Saint Paul College Plumbing student. (This will be verified through the college and there is nothing the student needs to provide on the application for this.)
Must achieve and maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher. This will be verified through the college and there is nothing the student needs to provide on the application for this.)
Must have a letter of recommendation from a current Saint Paul College Plumbing Instructor
